Schedule Maintenance
Schedule Maintenance allows the user to create and maintain schedules for employees, check employee availability, and view past, present, and future schedules.
How to Configure Schedule Maintenance
- In the Back Office, click Maintenance > Schedule the Schedule Maintenance window will appear.
- Select the schedule you would like to view in the Week Of drop down.
- Select the employee(s) you would like to view in the Job Code drop down.
- Select the time of day you would like to view in the Schedule Maintenance window by clicking the AM, PM, or Both radio button.
- Click the Overlay Employee Availability checkbox to overlap scheduled employee shifts.
- Right click any employee in the Employee column of the table to view the Employee menu:
- Employee Availability:Allows the user to enter availability on a weekly or date range basis. There are three availability types:
- Green: Days/Hours shown in green are considered Available times. Available hours are pictured in white in the Schedule Maintenance table.
- Yellow: Days/Hours shown in yellow are considered Prefer Off times.
- Red: Days/Hours shown in Red are considered Unavailable times.
- Sort by Name:This option sorts the employees in the Employee column alphabetically by name.
- Sort by Employee ID:This option sorts the employees in the Employee column numerically by employee ID number.
- Show Employee ID: This option shows/hides the employee's ID numbers within the Employee column.
- Right click any cell to view the Scheduling menu for that employee and day of the week:
- Add Shift: This option allows the user to add a predefined shift to an employee's schedule. Shifts can be configured in the Edit menu> Edit Shifts.
- Quick Shift: This option allows the user to configure a new shift to be added to an employee's schedule.
- Remove Shift: This option allows the user to remove a scheduled shift from an employee's schedule.
- Schedule Multiple Days: This option allows the user to schedule an employee for a predefined shift for multiple days of the week.
- Show Employee Availability:This option shows an employee's availability for the day of the week that has been selected.
- Click File > Save.
