This Employee Wage Report displays payroll statistics for the pay period specified. It allows the user to view employee punches, work center totals, gross pay, tippable sales, and tips declared.
Displays employee punch details for the selected Pay Period.
Employee: The employee's name (last, first) as configured in Employee Maintenance.
ID: The employee's ID number as assigned in Employee Maintenance.
Job Code: The employee's home job code as assigned to the employee in Employee Maintenance > Payrate Info. Job Code settings can be configured in System Settings > Job Codes.
Class: The employee's class as assigned in Employee Maintenance. Class settings can be configured via Class Maintenance.
Pay Period: The pay period selected when configuring the report settings.
Date: The date (day of week, month, day of month) the employee worked.
In: The employee's clock in time.
Job Code: The employee's clocked in job code as assigned to the employee in Employee Maintenance > Payrate Info. Job Code settings can be configured in System Settings > Job Codes.
Out: The employee's clock out time.
Ln Tot: The total number of hours worked on the specified date.
Tot Hrs: The total number of hours the employee has worked in the specified pay period, up to, and including, the current line.
Tippable Sales: The total amount of tippable sales, not including tax, To Go Surcharges, gift card sales, or gratuities, settled by the specified employee. See Item Maintenance > Item is not "Tippable" for more information on configuring tippable items.
Decl Tips: The total amount of tips declared by the specified employee.
Decl %: The percentage of tips declared by the specified employee. See Enter Employee Tips for more information on declaring employee tips.
Tip Pool: The total amount collected via a tip pool. See Tip Pooling Maintenance for more information on configuring tip pools.
Net Tips: The amount of tips received by the employee during the selected pay period.
Net %: The percentage of sales that net tips make up.
The Summary section lists employee hours and wage information for all selected employees, by job code, that worked during the specified pay period.
Job Code: The job code as configured in Employee Maintenance > Payrate Info.
Tot Hrs: The total hours the employees included in the specified job code have worked in the selected pay period.
Meal: The total hours the employees included in the job code have taken for meal breaks in the specified pay period. Employee break limits are based on the Meal Deduction Limit (Hours) and Meal Deduction Amount (Min's) configured in Class Maintenance for the specified employee.
Reg Hrs: The total hours worked by employees within the specified job code at the Base Rate. To configure the employee's Base Rate, see Payrate Info.
OT Hrs: The total hours worked by employees within the specified job code at the OT (Overtime) Rate. To configure the employee's OT Rate, see Payrate Info.
Reg Pay: The total hours worked (by job code) at the regular rate of pay. (Employee A's Reg Rate * Reg Hrs) + (Employee B's Reg Rate * Reg Hrs)
OT Pay: The total hours worked (by job code) at the regular overtime rate of pay. (Employee A's OT Rate * OT Hrs) + (Employee B's OT Rate * OT Hrs)
Gross Pay: The total pay earned for the specified date. (Reg Pay + OT Pay)
Pct Tot: The percentage of all hours worked by the specified job code.
Tippable Sales: The total amount of tippable sales, not including tax, To Go Surcharges, gift card sales, or gratuities, settled by the specified employee. See Item Maintenance > Item is not "Tippable" for more information on configuring tippable items.
Decl Tips: The total dollar amount of tips declared by the specified employee.
Decl %: The percentage of tips declared by the specified employee. See Enter Employee Tips for more information on declaring employee tips.
Displays unpaired punches, listed by employee ID and employee name. Unpaired punches are typically "in" punches that do not have a related "out" punch. Often times this occurs when clocked in employees are included in the report and their shift is still open.
Tip Pool contributions and distributions are displayed with the tips declared on Employee Wage + Tip Pool as Total Tips Declared showing the amount declared when the employee clocked out, the net amount contributed to and received from tip pools and the total amount declared.
