Job Codes are job classifications used to define groups of employees. Employees can belong to multiple Job Codes.
Job Code
Job Codes are job classifications used to define groups of employees. For example, Servers, Cooks, Hosts, etc.
Labor Group
A subcategory of Job Code. This allows the user to further divide groups of employees.
Section
The Section setting allows the user to attach a Job Code to a specific section of a room. See Section/Table Maintenance > Edit Section Info for more information on configuring Sections.
Revenue Center
The Revenue Center settings allows the user to assign a Job Code to a specific Revenue Center or to select the Use Terminal's option to use the Terminal's Revenue Center. See Revenue Centers for more information on configuring Revenue Centers.
Job Code is for Delivery Drivers
This option allows the Job Code to be specified as a Delivery Driver.
When enabled, the employee will be able to enter tip share amounts on the Front End when clocking out. If Tip Sharing is Mandatory is selected, the shared amount will be fixed at the Percent Received (or greater) for the receiving employees.
Tip Sharing is Optional
The employee will be able to enter tip share amounts on the Front End when clocking out.
Tip Sharing is Mandatory

Prompt Use for Seat Number for Each Item Sold
When enabled, this option will prompt the user to select a seat number for each item added to a check, including modifier items.
Do Not Prompt for Seat on Modifiers
When enabled, this option will not pr ompt the user for a seat number when a modifier item is selected.
Employee Receives Shared Tips
Check this option to enable tip sharing for the selected job code.
Percent Received
This is the percentage of tips the employee will receive. Tips are determined by the share type selected below.
Share is Based on Tips Declared
Determines total tips based on tips declared by all employees who share their tips.
Share is Based on Total Sales
Determines total tips based on the total amount of sales by all employees who share their tips.
Share is Based on Department Sales
Determines total tips based on the total amount of sales in the specified Departments. Users can specify up to six Departments by mask. For example, enter the dept prefix followed by an asterisk, APP* for appetizers or BEE* for all beer.
