Edit Modifiers

Modifiers are child or sub items in Item Maintenance that correspond with a parent item, allowing customization of meal options and side dishes. Modifiers can be used to offer options for ingredients in a salad, condiments for a burger, meat temperatures, etc. Any Item in Item Maintenance can be used as a modifier and these modifiers can also be mass attributed to multiple items.   • Modifiers can be either optional or forced
    • If a modifier is forced, users can specify the number of modifiers required
  • Modifiers can be grouped and named allowing the user to select multiple modifier groups for a single item, as shown in the image below (Steak Temp., Modify Steak, Side with Entree)
    • Modifiers can also be displayed on multiple pages
  • Modifiers will be displayed automatically on the Front End when an item that has modifiers is selected
