Beer Club

Beer club is used to track customer purchases in order for customers to earn a specified reward. Beer Club allows the user to modify the club and item type to create any rewards club desired. Rewards can be configured as coupons, discounts, or gift certificates. Any customer that has been added to Customer Maintenance is automatically enrolled in Beer Club. To allow FPOS to track the number and type of items purchased, the customer must be added to the check on the Front End.

  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Settings icon.
  3. Click System Settings.
  4. Select the System Configuration tab.
  5. Select the Beer Club tab.
  6. Enter a Beer Club Description.
  7. Select the items needed to complete the Beer Club from the Item drop downs. Customers must purchase all items listed in the Beer Club tab to receive their reward.
  8. In the Reward Type options, select a reward type:
    • Coupon: Select the Coupon radio button. Then select a coupon from the drop down. Coupon rewards can be configured in Coupon Maintenance.
    • Discount: Select the Discount radio button. Then select a discount from the drop down. Discounts can be configured in Discount Maintenance.
    • Gift Certificate: Select the Gift Certificate radio button. Enter the gift card series in the GC Series text field. Then enter the gift card Amount and select your print options. Choose from Don't Print, Print to Default Printer, and User selects Printer. Gift Certificates can be configured in Gift Certificate Maintenance.
  9. When you have finished configuring your Beer Club, click File > Save.
