Zone Charges Maintenance

Zone Charges Maintenance allows the user to configure up to twenty delivery zones and their associated charges. Users can also set a Driver Share of Charge amount which will be deducted from the Zone Charge to pay the delivery driver.

ClosedHow to Create a Zone Charge
  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Maintenance icon.
  3. Click Zone Charges Maintenance.
  4. In the Zone Charges Maintenance window, select an empty zone slot from the Delivery Zone drop down.
  5. Enter a description in the Zone Description text field.
  6. Enter a charge in the Zone Charge field.
  7. If desired, enter an amount of the Zone Charge to be shared with the delivery driver in the Driver Share of Charge text field.
    • Check the Non-Tip Service Charge check box to indicate that any gratuities added to the configured zones will be reported as employee wages.
  8. Click File > Save.

Zone charges can also be configured by customer location via Customer Maintenance or via Order Type in Settings 4. Zone charges do not add to total sales or employee tips, but are shown in the Zone Charges Breakdown section of the Driver Accountability Report.
