Frequent Diner Maintenance allows the user to create 32 Frequent Diner plans and 32 Bonus Levels. Bonus levels should be organized from the lowest to the highest level. Customers must complete each bonus level to proceed to the next highest level. In order for a customer to participate in a Frequent Diner Plan, the user must select the eligible plan(s) for the customer's account in Customer Maintenance by clicking the Frequent Diner Info button.
Don't Show "Congratulations" Message When Customer Receives a Reward
Checking this box will prevent a dialog from being displayed on the Front End when a customer receives a reward.
Bonus Levels
Select a Bonus Level from the list or click the Add Level button to create a new Bonus Level.
Bonus Method
You can configure multiple Bonus Levels that require specific Bonus Methods for completion. Only one Bonus Method can be selected for each Bonus Level. Bonus Methods are defined below:
Number of Visits
Completion of this Bonus Level is based on the number of times the customer visits the store. Enter the number of visits required to complete this Bonus Level in the text box.
Number of Dollars Spent
Completion of this Bonus Level is based on the number of dollars spent at your store. Enter the number of dollars spent required to complete this Bonus Level in the text box.
Number of Items Purchased
Completion of this Bonus Level is based on the purchase of items specified by the user. Enter the number of items purchased to complete this Bonus Level in the text box.You must enter an Item Mask to specify the items that will be counted towards Items Purchased. You can also enter a Skip Dept Mask which will exclude items from being counted towards Items Purchased.
Number of Hours
Completion of this Bonus Level is based on the number of hours the customer spends at your store. Enter the number of hours required to complete this Bonus Level in the text box. The Number of Hours is based on timed items.
Repeat this level X times before progressing to the next Bonus Level
Enter the number of times the diner needs complete this Bonus Level prior to moving to the next Bonus Level. FPOS 5.0 requires a minimum value of 0 in this field. Version 4.1 allows for a value of -1.
Reward Type
You can configure the Reward Type given for the completion of each Bonus Level. Reward Types are defined below:
Coupon
Prints the selected coupon when the Bonus Method requirements have been met. Select a Coupon from the drop down. Coupons can be configured in Coupon Maintenance.
Discount
Prints the selected Discount Image when the Bonus Method requirements have been met. Select a Discount from the drop down. Discounts can be configured in Discount Maintenance.
Gift Certificate
Select a Gift Certificate from the drop down. Enter the GC Amount and select a print option from the GC Print Options drop down. Gift Certificates can be configured in Gift Certificate Maintenance.
Customer Credit
This option gives the customer a store credit in Customer Maintenance. Enter a Credit Amount in the text box.
