Revenue Centers
A Revenue Center is simply a way of grouping terminals together so that their sales related info is separate from other Revenue Centers. Each Revenue Center can use their own credit card processing information. A terminal can only belong to one Revenue Center.
How to Set Up a Revenue Center
- Open the Back Office.
- Click Settings.
- Select System Settings.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click the System Configuration tab.
- Click the Revenue Centers tab.
- To add a new Revenue Center, type a name for your new Revenue Center in the next available line.
- Click on the Overrides button next to your new Revenue
Center to configure override settings, then click OK. Users may wish to use this option to separate various aspects of the business. For example, a restaurant revenue center and a bar revenue center.
- Override Internet CCAM IP Address overrides the DSI Client settings configured in the Credit tab of System Settings for the selected revenue center.
- Override PMS Revenue Center overrides the PMS settings configured in the PMS tab of System Settings for the selected revenue center.
- Override Credit Settings overrides the Credit Card Module settings configured in the Credit tab of System Settings for the selected revenue center.
- Click the OK button on the Configure "Revenue Center Name" Override Info dialog if it is open.
- Click File > Save.
How to Designate a Terminal's Revenue Center
- Open the Back Office.
- Click the Settings icon at the top of the dashboard.
- Click System Devices.
- Click the Terminals tab.
- Click the General Info 2 tab.
- Select the Revenue
Center you want this Terminal to belong to from the Revenue Center drop
down menu.
- Click File > Save.
