Coursing

1. Open the Back Office.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click System Settings.
4. Click the System Configuration tab.
5. Click the Coursing tab.
   
6. Under Description, list a brief description of the course.
7. You can choose any of the check boxes to the right to set the appearance of the description on the kitchen screen.
8. Click on File > Save.

Once courses have been setup, you will need to specify each item's course. This is done in Item Maintenance.

1. Open the Back Office.
2. Click theMaintenancesicon.
3. Click Item Maintenance. This will open the Item Maintenance window.
   
4. Select the item you want to assign a course to from the Item Name drop down.
5. Select the Default Course this Item will belong to from the Default Course drop down.
6. Click File > Save.

Users can edit items' course settings using the Mass Attribute option. From Item Maintenance, click Edit > Mass Attribute and select Use Default Course under the General Information tab.
