Canadian EMV (System Settings)

• Download and install NETePay SQL http://www.datacapepay.com/netepay4.htm
• Download and install NETePayEMV http://www.datacapepay.com/downloadmenu/
• Download and install EMV DSI Client http://www.datacapepay.com/dsiemvclient.htm
• Configure Canadian EMV settings in System Devices

1. Open the Back Office.
2. Click Settings.
3. Select System Settings.
4. Click the Canadian EMV tab.
   
5. Select the vendor or processor that programmed the Debit PIN Pad from the PIN Pad Type box.
6. Type in the IP Address of the server in the Server IP/Host Name field.
7. Set the Server Port # to 9000.
8. Click File > Save.
   

• Configure Canadian EMV media in Media Maintenance.
• Set up the Canadian EMV button in the Back Office.

When setting up multiple terminals:

• Set the Server IP/Host Name in System Settings to the IP Address of the Server Machine, rather than using the loopback (127.0.0.1).
• Install the DSI EMV Clientfor each terminal. Failure to do so will result in an error such as Error Authorizing Transaction: Error performing pin pad reset: Invalid pointer.
