Recipe Maintenance allows users to access recipes from the Front End and is frequently used by bartenders to create mixed drinks. Recipes can be configured to allow employees to add the item to the current check from the Recipe Help dialog.
Recipe Name
This is a brief description or the name of the recipe. This will also be the Recipe Name displayed in the Recipe Help dialog on the Front End. Selecting New from the Recipe Name drop down allows the user to configure a new recipe.
Item
The Item drop down allows the user to attach an item from Item Maintenance. This field is required
in order to sell the item from the Recipe Help dialog.
You must also enable the Allows Sales From Recipe Help Screen option in the Recipe Help button in Button Maintenance if you wish to sell items from the Recipe Help dialog.
Recipe
The Recipe text field allows the user to enter the recipe that will be displayed.
