Adding a Recipe

Users can create new recipes using Recipe Maintenance and is often used to enter mixed drink recipes for use in the bar. Recipes can be attached to an item in Item Maintenance allowing the user to sell the item from the Recipe Help dialog.

  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Maintenances icon.
  3. Click Recipe Maintenance.
  4. Select New in the Recipe Name drop down.
  5. If you wish to sell the item from the Recipe Help dialog on the Front End, select an Item to attach to your recipe.
  6. Enter the recipe in the Recipe field.
  7. When you have finished configuring your recipe, click File > Save As.
  8. When the Save As dialog appears, enter a Recipe Name in the text field.
