How to Change the Wallpaper File

Users can to customize the Front End wallpaper from System Devices. FPOS recommends using a bitmap (.bmp) file as the background image.

  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Settings icon.
  3. Click System Devices.
  4. Click the Terminals tab.
  5. Click the General Info 2 tab.
  6. Click the Color and Appearance button.
  7. In the Color and Appearance dialog, click the ellipses button to the right of the Wallpaper option.
  8. Browse to the bitmap file you wish to apply and then click the Open button.

  9. In the Color and Appearance dialog, click the OK button.
  10. In the System Devices window, click File > Save.

If the new wallpaper file does not display on the Front End after completing the steps above, verify that the Hide Wallpaper When Signed On option is not enabled in Settings 1.
