Magnetic Stripe Reader (MSR)

A Magnetic Stripe Reader, or MSR, is used to read the magnetic stripes on media such as credit cards, drivers licenses, employee badges, or gift cards. The MSR may be built into the POS unit or may be attached separately. Users can select from a variety of MSR types, including USB, Serial, and E2E encrypted MSRs. Users will need to configure the MSR's settings in MSR.
