After installing FPOS Enterprise, users must configure an Enterprise Server database in DB Setup. Future POS, Inc. recommends using the blank Fusion Enterprise database provided in the Dealer Portal. This database contains the basic Enterprise information needed for Enterprise initial setup.

After restoring the Fusion Enterprise database on the Enterprise Server and configuring the Store Servers in DB Setup, install the Security Certificate to enable secure communication between all stores and the Enterprise Server. See Installing the Enterprise Security Certificate for more information.
If you are restoring a database that is prior to v5.0.95.0, the database will require an upgrade. The Upgrade Database prompt will appear. Click the Yes button to perform the upgrade. The upgrade will begin automatically. Once a database has been upgraded to version 5.0.95.0, or higher, users cannot roll back to previous versions.
