The Hardware Settings tab contains general hardware settings for the Caller ID, Pager, iButton, Camera, and Liquor Control Devices.

  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Settings icon.
  3. Click the System Settings option.
  4. Click the Settings tab.

X-10 Controller Comm Port
This is the communications port to which the X-10 Lighting system is interfaced to.  The X-10 Lighting system must be connected to a Serial communications port connected to the Server.

 

Caller ID MLA Comm Port
This is the communications port that the Rochelle Caller ID Multi-Line Adapter is attached to.

 

Pagers
Configure pager settings for compatible pagers.

Pager Controller Comm Port
This is the communications port that the pager is attached to.

 

Pager Controller Type
This field specifies the pager device type.

 

iButton
Configure iButton settings for if iButton devices are in use.

iButton is Enabled
Enables the iButton for use with FPOS.

 

iButton Responds to Remove
When the iButton is removed from the interface, the user will be logged out of the Front End.

 

iButton is J2
This option must be selected if the terminal is a J2 terminal

 

Specify Location of Video Capture Database
If this option is enabled, a location for the video capture database must be designated in the text field below.  

 

Liquor Control Dispensing
Liquor Control Dispensing configurations determine the terminal that drinks will be dispensed from.

Dispense From the Terminal the Drinks are Sold At
When this option is checked, liquor will be dispensed from the terminal that the drinks were sold at.

 

Dispense From the Terminal that Receives the Order
When this option is checked, liquor will be dispensed from the terminal that receives the order.

 

Camera Allocation Control
The Camera Allocation Control section contains the settings for configuring cameras configured in System Devices.

Max Sec's Before
The maximum number of seconds before an event that the camera will record.

 

Max Sec's After
The maximum number of seconds after an event that the camera will record.

 

Max Frame Rate
The maximum number of frames per second the camera will capture.

 

Max Pend. Events
The maximum number of events permitted to be recorded simultaneously. For example, a cash sale, open drawer, etc.
