Credit/EMV

• (PC-EFTPOS) Download and install the PC-EFTPOS setup.exe file from the PC-EFTPOS website
• (OpenEdge EMV) Download and install the XCharge installer. Contact your Global processing representative to obtain the installer.

1. Open the Back Office.
2. Click the Settings icon.
3. Click the System Devices option.
4. In the System Devices window, click the Terminals tab.
5. Select a Credit Device Type from the drop down.
6. If required for the Credit Device Type selected, enter the Merchant ID, User ID, and Password provided by the processor.
7. Check the Print to POS Printer check box to print to the receipt printer.
8. Check the Override Duplicate Transactions check box to prevent duplicate transactions from being processed.
9. Click File > Save.
   

The PC-EFTPOS device does not require further configuration. Configuration and settings for OpenEdge EMV are listed below
