Creating a Credit/EMV Media

The Credit/EMV media is used to process EMV or EFTPOS transactions.

  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Maintenance icon at the top of the dashboard.
  3. Click Media Maintenance.
  4. Select an empty Media slot from the drop down.
  5. Enter a Receipt Description for the media type. In this example we used Credit/EMV.
  6. Set the Halo and Lalo amounts.
  7. Select the Media is a Credit/EMV Device radio button.
  8. Click File > Save.
