Top/Bottom Movers Report

The Top/Bottom Movers report displays sold items by sales count or amount for a specific date and time range. Users can select which departments and/or items to display.

  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Reports icon.
  3. Click Top/Bottom Movers.
  4. When the Top/Bottom Movers Report window appears, configure your report settings:
    • Enter a Start Date, Start Time, End Date, and End Time.
    • Select a Sort By option:
      • Quantity Sold sorts the report by the Count column. Top Movers are sorted in descending order. Bottom Movers are sorted in ascending order.
      • Dollars Sold sorts the report by the Amount column. Top Movers are sorted in descending order. Bottom Movers are sorted in ascending order.
    • Select the Number of Top/Bottom Items to Show. 10 is selected by default, however, users can display up to 99 items.
    • Check the Don't Show Modifiers check box to exclude modifier items from the report.
    • Check the Don't Show Deleted Items check box to exclude deleted items from the report.
    • Check the Include Items with Zero Quantity Sold check box to display items that had zero sales.
    • Select the Departments and/or Items to display or click the Select/De-Select All buttons to select or de-select all Departments and/or Items.
  5. When you have finished configuring your report settings, click the Run Report button. The Top/Bottom Movers Report Preview window will appear.
ClosedTop/Bottom Movers Report Values Defined

Displays a summary of the Top Movers and Bottom Movers by Department and/or Item. Top Movers are displayed first on the report in descending order beginning with the highest item count or amount sold. Bottom Movers are displayed second on the report in ascending order beginning with the lowest item count or amount sold.

Item:Displays the Item Name as configured in Item Maintenance.

Description: Displays the Item Description as configured in Item Maintenance.

Last Sold: Displays the item's last sales date within the Date/Time range specified, in MM/DD/YYYY format.

Count: Displays the total sales count of the specified item.

Amount: Displays the total sales amount of the specified item.
