Labor vs Sales Report

1. In Button Maintenance, select Register Reports from the Function drop down.
2. Click Edit Function Data.
   
3. Select Labor vs Sales under Report Type.
4. Under Report Options select your viewing options:
   • Allow User to View Report displays the report preview window. The user must select the Print option in the preview window.
   • Print the Report Immediately does not display the preview window and prints the report automatically.
   • Print Store Name displays the store name associated with the store's license.
5. Click the Configure Report button to configure your Labor vs Sales Report settings.
   
6. Select a Time Format:
   • Force User to Specify Start Time will prompt the user to enter a report start time when the Labor vs Sales Register Report button is selected on the Front End.
   • Specify Report Start Time will begin the report at the time specified in the Start Time field.
7. Select a Report Format option:
   • The Summary report option displays wages and percentage totals.
   • The Hourly Detail report option displays hourly sales, labor, and percentage totals.
8. Selecting the Include Sales Tax Info check box will include the sales tax in the sales totals.
9. Selecting the Include Open Sales check box will include open checks in the report.
10. Click OK to confirm your settings.
    
11. Click OK in the Select Register Report dialog.
12. Click File > Save As in the Button Maintenance dialog to save your settings.
13. When the Save As dialog appears, enter a Button Name and click OK.

You will need to finish configuring your button settings. For more information on configuring your button, see Create New Button.

1. After signing on to the Front End, select the Labor vs Sales Register Report button you configured.
2. The Labor vs Sales Report preview window will appear. You can choose to view the report OR print to a receipt printer by selecting the Print button.
3. Select the OK button when you have finished with the report.
   

Labor vs Sales - Summary

Displays a summary of sales, labor, and labor as a percentage of sales. The Summary report option must be selected when configuring the Labor vs Sales Report button.

Sales: The total dollar amount of all sales performed in the date/time range.

Labor: The total dollar amount paid in wages during the specified date/time range. Employee wages can be configured in Payrate Info.

Percent: The total dollar amount of labor versus the total dollar amount of sales OR labor divided by sales, shown as a percentage. If non-tip wage data is present, it will be subtracted from the gratuity amount.

Labor vs Sales - Hourly Detail

Displays an hourly summary of sales, labor, and labor as a percentage of sales, as well as the day's totals. The Hourly Detail report option must be selected when configuring the Labor vs Sales Report button.

Hour: The hour during which the sales income was taken in and Labor (employee wages) were paid out.

Sales: The total dollar amount of all sales performed during the specified hour.

Labor: The total dollar amount paid in wages during the specified hour. If non-tip wage data is present, it will be subtracted from the gratuity amount. Employee wages can be configured in Payrate Info.

Lab/Sls%: The dollar amount of labor versus the dollar amount of sales OR labor divided by sales, shown as a percentage. If non-tip wage data is present, it will be subtracted from the gratuity amount.

Labor by Job Code

Displays employee wages by job code and individual employee.

Job Code: The employee's clocked in job code. Employee job code can be configured in Employee Maintenanace.

Wages: The employee's wages as configured in Payrate Info. If non-tip wage data is present, it will be subtracted from the gratuity amount.

% Tot: The percentage of the all employee wages paid to the specified employee.
