Duplicate Customers Report

The Duplicate Customer Report will search the customer database for duplicate customer entries and display the duplicates in the report. Users can then delete or modify customer entries in Customer Maintenance.

  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Reports icon.
  3. Click Duplicate Customers.

  4. When the Duplicate Customers Report window appears, select Fields to Compare to Identify Duplicates.
  5. Click the Run Report button. The Duplicate Customers Report Preview window will appear.

The Duplicate Customers Report will display the Dup's Criteria below the report title at the top of the page. Only customer information fields that are duplicated in Customer Maintenance will be displayed on the report.

Customer #: Displays the Customer Numbers for the customers with Matching Fields. Only two customers will be displayed per row. Customer Numbers are assigned in Customer Maintenance.

Matching Fields: Displays the field that contains matching values for the listed Customer Numbers.
