Scheduling Auto Reports

Users can configure Auto Report schedules to allow Auto Reports to run automatically at a set time. Users will need to Configure Auto Report Settings prior to creating the Auto Report's schedule.

  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Reports or Interfaces icon.
  3. Select a report or interface and configure its settings.
  4. Click the File menu > Auto Report.
  5. Configure the Auto Report settings or load an existing Auto Report. Click the File menu > Load to load an existing report.
  6. From the Auto Report Settings window, click the Tools menu > Schedule > Add Schedule.
  7. The Program Description and Command Line are populated automatically.
  8. Select a Window State from the drop down.
    • Normal: Report window opens in the format it was last closed.
    • Minimized: Report window always opens minimized.
    • Maximized: Report window always opens maximized.
  9. Set the Start Date and Start Time of the Auto Report run time. This is the initial run time of the report. The report will then run at the scheduled Resolution settings.
  10. Select a Resolution from the drop down. The Resolution selection defines at what interval the report will be run. The examples below are based on a Resolution Units value of 3.
    • Minute: The report will be run every three minutes with the initial run occurring at the Starting Date and Starting Time.
    • Hour: The report will be run every three hours with the initial run occurring at the Starting Date and Starting Time.
    • Day: The report will be run every three days with the initial run occurring at the Starting Date and Starting Time.
    • Month: The report will be run every three months with the initial run occurring at the Starting Date and Starting Time.
    • Year: The report will be run every three years with the initial run occurring at the Starting Date and Starting Time.
  11. Enter a Resolution Units value. For example, to run the auto report once a day, select Day from the Resolution drop down and set the Resolution Units option to 1.
  12. After configuring the schedule settings, click the OK button.

Configure two separate Auto Report schedules. Each schedule must specify a Start Date. For example, the 15th and the 30th.

  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Reports or Interfaces icon.
  3. Select a report or interface.
  4. Click the File menu > Auto Report.
  5. Click the File menu > Load to load an existing Auto Report.
  6. From the Auto Report Settings window, click the Tools menu > Schedule > View/Edit a Schedule.
  7. Configure settings, as desired.
  8. Click the OK button to save and apply any changes. See Adding a Schedule above for more information on scheduling options.
ClosedHow to Remove an Auto Report Schedule
  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Reports or Interfaces icon.
  3. Select a report or interface.
  4. Click the File menu > Auto Report.
  5. Click the File menu > Load to load an existing Auto Report.
  6. From the Auto Report Settings window, click the Tools menu > Schedule > Remove Schedule. Once a schedule has been removed, it cannot be restored.
