How to Access Daily Specials Maintenance
- Open the Back Office.
- Click the Maintenances icon.
- Click Daily Specials.
Daily Specials Maintenance allows the user to create and modify daily specials for each day of the week or by month. Users can select items (populated from Item Maintenance) and modify pricing for Daily Special items for specified date/time range. Users will need to configure the Daily Special button function in order to sell the Daily Special on the Front End.

Daily Specials Maintenance Options Explained
Daily Special
The Daily Specials list. To create a new Daily Special, select an empty slot configure.
Daily Special Description
A description of the special. This is the item name that will be displayed in the Daily Special field, as well as on the Daily Special reports.
Special Type
Users must select from two Special Types, described below.
Weekly Special
Allows the user to configure the daily specials based on the days of the week, Sunday through Saturday.
Monthly Special
Allows the user to configure the daily specials based on the days of the month, 1-31.
Daily Specials Matrix/Grid
Configure Daily Special Item options by day of the week or month.
Day
The day of the week or month that the special will be available. These values are hard-coded and based on the Special Type option chosen above.
Item
The item that will be on special. The Item list is populated from items configured in Item Maintenance.
Price
The item's Daily Special price. This price will override the item's normal price only when the Daily Special button is selected on the Front End and only for the day the special is active.
Show Qty Available
Displays the quantity available on the Daily Special button on the Front End, if a Quantity Available value has been configured for the item in Item Maintenance.
