Heartland Payroll Interface

The Heartland Payroll Interface allows the user to export FPOS payroll data for use with the Heartland accounting software.

ClosedHow to Use the Heartland Payroll Interface
  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Interfaces icon.
  3. Click the Heartland Payroll option.
  4. Enter a file and path name in the Export File Name field.
  5. Enter the Heartland company number (provided by Heartland) in the Heartland Company # field.
  6. Select a Pay Period from the list box. Users can select from up to eight previous pay periods.
  7. Select an Employee ID Source. Identify employees by ID number or User Data, as configured in Employee Maintenance.
  8. Select employees to include in the export in the Employees list box or click the Select/De-Select All button to select or de-select all employees.
  9. Enter the Heartland Payment Account Info as configured in the Heartland accounting software:
    • Enter the Heartland Labor #.
    • Enter the Reg Hours Code for the selected Job Code.
    • Enter the OT Hours Code for the selected Job Code.
  10. Click the Run Export button. A success dialog will be displayed when the file has been successfully created.

The Heartland Payroll Interface exports up to five rows of payroll data. A sample report is displayed below. Only the rows containing values for the date/time range selected will be displayed. For example, if no overtime hours are worked during the date/time range, Row 2 will be omitted from the export.
