ChefTec Inventory Interface

The ChefTec Inventory Interface allows the user to export FPOS inventory data to the ChefTec inventory software.

How to Use the ChefTec Interface

1. Open the Back Office.
2. Click the Interfaces icon.
3. Click the ChefTec option.
4. Select a Date to Export from the drop down.
5. Enter a file path and name in the Export File Name field.
6. Select Item Info to Export. Choose from Item Name or Item UPC, as configured in Item Maintenance.
7. Select Pricing Info to Export:
   • Export the Default Item Price per Schedule/Level exports the item's price based on the Price Schedule or Price Level at the time of sale.
   • Export the Actual Price Charged for the Item exports the item's actual price including any coupons, discounts, or other settings which may affect the price of an item.
   • Export the Default Item Price in Item Maintenance exports the item's price using the Default Price in Item Maintenance. Items are consolidated regardless of any price changes performed on the items.
8. Check the Don't Export Modifier Items to exclude modifiers from the export.
9. Click the Run Export button. A success dialog will be displayed when the file has been successfully created.
