Supported Devices (Mobile POS)

Future POS has certified and supports specific devices for use with Mobile POS. System Requirements and Prerequisites, as well as a complete list of supported devices and MSRs are shown below.

ClosedSystem Requirements and Prerequisites
  • Android devices require Android 2.3.3, or higher, with an ARMv7 processor
  • The latest version of iOS is recommended for Apple devices
  • Users must use a processor who supports end-to-end encryption in order to meet PCI compliance standards
  • Currently, MSRs do not require any setup prior to use. Users simply connect the MSR to the associated device, unless noted by the specific device in the table below.
