Minimum System Requirements

Future POS, Inc. recommends using a desktop PC as the server/backup server machine. All-In-Ones can also be used as the server/backup machine, however, they typically contain less advanced components. Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Express Edition with Management Tools must be installed on the server/backup server. Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Express Edition is available for download on the Dealer Portal. Also, databases 10 GB and larger require Microsoft SQL Work Group edition or greater.

If the server is part of an Enterprise system, at least Microsoft SQL Workgroup Edition will be required. It is also recommended that the user select hardware that exceeds the minimum requirements listed below.

Microsoft SQL Compact Edition must be installed on the terminal, and is included in the Fusion installation package.

If videos or shockwave files are being used on multiple displays, Future POS, Inc. recommends an Intel i5 or i7 processor. For a simple, rotating ad display, use the Server/Backup Minimum Requirements listed above.
