Training Mode

Training Mode is most often used to train new employees on the Future POS Software or to try out new features without actually making changes that will effect the "live" version of Future POS. Users can toggle Training Mode from the Front End with the Toggle Training Mode button function.

ClosedWhile in Training Mode
  • The background on the Front End will read "Training Mode"
  • Receipts and chits have "***TRAINING MODE***" printed at the top
  • Any sales are excluded from "live" sales figures and displayed on reports as Training Mode sales instead
ClosedFunctions Not Supported in Training Mode

General

  • Unable to settle a non-Training Mode sale or combine it with a Training Mode Sale
  • Cash drawers will not open
  • Frequent diner totals are not adjusted
  • Item's available quantity
    • is not adjusted (Cancel Sale button function, Sell Item button function, and Void Item button function)
    • is not decremented (Another Round button function)
    • is not verified for item count when adding to a check (Change Item's Quantity button function and Lookup Customer > Repeat Order function)
