Users can add the DBTestConnectionTimeout registry keys to the registry to force the system to attempt to return to Online Mode prior to the 4 minute default time.
- Open the Registry Editor.
- Navigate to the Future P.O.S. Registry:
- x86: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Future P.O.S.\Database
- x64: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Future P.O.S.\Database
- Add the following values by right-clicking the Database registry key, clicking New > DWORD (32-bit Value):
- DBTestConnectionTimeout - This registry key allows the user to change the timeout length settings when attempting to return to Online Mode before entering Stand Alone Mode. The Data value field allows the user to set the timeout value (in seconds). A Data value of 240 is set by default.
- Double-click a registry key to edit the Value data in the Edit DWORD Value dialog and then click the OK button.
