The FollowMe feature allows the user to view the last open check from any terminal connected to the network.
Once a user has signed onto a terminal on the Front End and started a check, the last opened check will "follow" of open on the Front End when signing onto a different terminal as the same user. If FollowMe is unable to sign the user off of the previous terminal, the FollowMe error dialog will prompt the user to select an option.
From within the registry, users can add a DWORD value of FollowMeWait which will set the time interval before FollowMe times out. On a 64-bit machine, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Future P.O.S.\Future P.O.S. (on a 32-bit machine, the Wow6432Node will not be included in the path) and add the FollowMeWait DWORD value. Be sure to enter a value in the Value Data field. Any positive number entered in the Value Data field will determine the amount of time, in seconds, FollowMe will wait prior to timing out.
