Deleting Scheduled Updates

Users can delete existing scheduled updates and schedule groups using Scheduled Updates Maintenance in the Back Office of the Enterprise Server, as well as any supported Maintenances.

Scheduled updates cannot be restored after they have been deleted.

  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Maintenances icon.
  3. Click the Scheduled Updates option.
  4. Click the Update Item or Schedule Group you wish to delete from, then select a delete option from the Edit menu.
    • Delete Update Item: Deletes the selected update item. For example, in the image below, the Item Description row has been highlighted and will be deleted from the update item. This option will not delete the Schedule Group or the Maintenance Update Group.
    • Delete All Updates for this Maintenance in this Schedule Group: Deletes all update items from the selected Maintenance within the Schedule Group. This option will not delete the Schedule Group.
    • Delete All Updates for this Schedule Group: Deletes all Maintenance updates within the Schedule Group. This option will not delete the schedule group, however, the Schedule Group will be removed from the Scheduled Updates Maintenance main window because it contains no Maintenance updates. The Schedule Group can be accessed when adding new updates.

In the example below, Button Maintenance is shown. Users can delete updates from within the any respective Maintenance which supports Scheduled Updates. In order to use the Delete Scheduled Update option, the user must first load an update in the respective maintenance.

  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Maintenances icon.
  3. Click Button Maintenance.
  4. In the Button Maintenance window, click the Scheduled Update menu. If the scheduled update you wish to delete is not currently loaded, load the update using the Load Scheduled Update option. The update name will be displayed in the Button Maintenance titlebar.
  5. Click the Delete Scheduled Update option.
  6. When the Button Maintenance delete scheduled updates dialog opens, select the OK button to delete the currently loaded update.
