Enterprise Data Group Maintenance

Enterprise Data Group Maintenance allows the user to create data groups outside of the standard store/region Enterprise groupings. Enterprise Data Group Maintenance is only accessible from the FPOS5 Bin folder. Data Group Maintenance can be used to populate immediate changes to stores within the data group, or to set Scheduled Updates.

  1. From the Enterprise server, open Windows Explorer and navigate to the FPOS5 Bin (C:\FPOS5\Bin).
  2. Double click DataGroupMaintenance.exe.
  3. In the Data Group Maintenance window, click the Add button under the Group Name list box to create a data group.
  4. Click the empty group field in the Group Name list box, then, enter a group name.
  5. Click the Add button under the Affected Data list box.
  6. In the Maintenance Selector dialog, select a maintenance from the drop down, then click the OK button.
  7. Click the Add button under the Store(s) list box.
  8. In the Store Selector dialog, select a store from the Stores list box. Select multiple stores at once by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking the store(s) you wish to select. Once you have selected store(s), click the OK button.

Once you have finished creating a data group, you can configure the data by double-clicking a maintenance in the Affected Data list. The maintenance's configurations dialog will be displayed.
