Credit Card Processor Demo (Dealers Only)

Dealers can use the Credit Processor Demo to perform credit sales on their demo units without processing a credit sale.

  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Settings icon.
  3. Click System Settings.
  4. Click the Credit Card tab.
  5. Select the Authorize Using Credit Module radio button.
  6. In the Credit Card Processor drop down, select the Demo option.
  7. Click the Set Demo Options button.
  8. In the Demo Configurations window, select a demo Processor from the drop down, then configure the processor's settings.
    • The processor function check boxes are read only, and display what the processor does and does not support. A checked box denotes a supported function, while an unchecked box denotes a feature that is not supported.
    • If available, select an Authorization Method. These options can be configured only for processors which support both Authorization Methods, explained in greater detail, below.
      • The Use Pre-Auth/Pre-Auth Capture authorization method requires the user to enter a charge tip on each check before batching out.
      • The Use Sale/Adjust Sale authorization method means the sale is finalized as soon as a response is returned by the processor.
    • Check the Don't Override Duplicate Credit Card Transactions check box to force duplicate transactions that may otherwise be declined by the processor.
  9. After selecting a demo Processor and settings, click OK.
  10. In the System Settings window, click File > Save.
