Users can configure various reports and interfaces to run on a set schedule using the Auto Report function. Auto Reports can be configured to display specific values (Control Settings) within the auto report's configuration dialog. Any settings that are selected within the report's configuration dialog will be displayed in the Control Settings section on the Auto Report Settings dialog.
Examples of Control Setting values are shown below. Control Settings will vary by report. For a full list of supported reports and interfaces, see Reports Supporting Auto Report and/or Interfaces Supporting Auto Report.
List box items correspond to the values shown in the Control Settings section of the Auto Report Settings screen. In the example shown below, the user selected three Activities from the Activity Report settings screen. These activities are shown as the values 1, 4, 5 and 6 in the Control Settings, Activities line. These values correspond to the activities selected in the Activities list of the Activity Report window.
1 = Added a Shift
4 = Added In Punch
5 = Added Out Punch
6 = Added Transfer Punch
If all activities were selected, the Activities value would equal True. If no activities were selected, the Activities line would not be shown in the Control Settings section.
Check boxes will produce either a True or False value in the Control Settings section of the Auto Report Settings window. In the example below, the Don't Include Items With a Zero Price option is left unchecked in the Cumulative Sales Report window. The value is displayed as False because the option was not enabled. If the option were enabled (checked in the Cumulative Sale Report window), the value would be displayed as True.
Radio buttons will produce a numerical value, as shown in the list box example above. In the example below, the Use Standard Media Totals option has been enabled and the Media House Total radio button has been selected in the Cumulative Sales Report window. The value is displayed as 3 because the third option, Media House Total, was enabled. Note that some lists of radio buttons start with a value of 0, so radio button values may vary.
