Edit Table Data
Edit Table Data is used in conjunction with the Table Tax Calculation Method. This option allows the user to define a tiered tax table based on total sale amount ranges.
How to Edit Table Data
- Open the Back Office.
- Click the Maintenances icon.
- Click Sales Tax Maintenance.
- Select a Tax from the drop down.
- In the Tax Calculation Method options, select the Table option.
- Select the Edit Table Data button.
- In the Edit Table Data window, configure the tax table data:
- In the To field, enter the maximum dollar amount of the sale for this tax range. The value placed in this field will be used to auto fill the From column in the next tax range.
- In the Amount field, enter the tax amount for the sale range.
- When you have finished configuring your tax table, click OK.
- Click the Test Tax button to verify the tax calculations. Future Fusion calculates taxes based on one of two algorithms. If the values are not properly calculating, enable the Use Alternate Calculation option and re-test the tax values you configured.
- In the Sales Tax Maintenance window, click File > Save.
