Mobile Registration Maintenance

Mobile Registration allows users to pair devices with FPOS Remote Control. Users can also configure payment information using the Register/View Payment Info option.

  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Maintenance icon.
  3. Click Mobile Registration.

ClosedHow to Register a User

In order to use FPOS Remote Control you must register a user account and enter your payment information.

  1. Click File.
  2. Select Register/View Payment Information. The Payment Registration For Store ID [your ID] window opens. The price for pairing the device is displayed along with a link to register a new user or to log in with an existing user.
  3. Click the link to register a new user.
  4. Enter your information in the registration form.
  5. Click Save User.
  6. When the confirmation dialog appears, click the OK button to return to the Mobile Registration window.
ClosedHow to Pair a Device
  1. Click Edit > Pair Device.
  2. Enter the Device ID. The Device ID is the Pair Code assigned by FPOS Remote Control. The Mobile Registration window now lists your device and device status.
ClosedHow to Unpair a Device

Unpairing a device removes that device's access to a store.

  • Click Edit > Unpair Device.
ClosedHow to Set a Device's Name

If a store has more than one device of the same type it may become confusing to remember in which order the devices were added. Changing the device's name will help you tell them apart.

  1. Click Edit > Set Device Name.
  2. Enter a new name for your device. (Ex: Terri's's phone or Terri's tablet)
  3. Click OK.

Refreshing the Mobile Devices Paired list box

Refreshing the screen will show any changes since the last refresh. For example, if your card is marked as bad (expired, for example) then the text will be red.

  • Click Edit > Refresh to refresh the screen.
ClosedHow to Cancel FPOS Remote Control
  1. In Mobile Registration Maintenance, click File > Register/View Payment Info.
  2. In the Payment Registration dialog, click the Click here to Login with an existing user link.
  3. Enter your Email and Password, then click Login.
  4. Click the Cancel App button.
  5. Check the check box to the left of the store you wish to cancel, then click the Cancel App button.
  6. The confirm dialog will be displayed. Click OK to delete the selected store.
  7. The deletion confirmation will be shown.
