Recalculate Unit Cost

This function allows the user to enter the Cost Per Case (for the store) and automatically calculates the Cost Per Unit.

Cost Per Unit = Cost Per Case / (Units Per Package * Packages Per Case)

ClosedHow to Recalculate the Unit Cost
  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Maintenance icon.
  3. Click Ingredient Maintenance.
  4. Select an ingredient to modify from the Ingredient drop down.
  5. Click the Recalculate Unit Cost button.
    • Enter the Cost Per Case which will be used to calculate the Cost Per Unit.
  6. Click OK.
  7. When the Ingredient Maintenance dialog opens, click the OK button.
  8. In the Ingredient Maintenance window, click File > Save.
