Auto Menu Settings

The Auto Menu option allows users to configure Auto Menu button appearance, as well as Auto Menu availability. Auto Menus must be configured in Terminal Screens Maintenance.

How to Configure Auto Menu Settings

1. Open the Back Office.
2. Click the Maintenance icon.
3. Click Item Maintenance.
4. Select an Item Name from the drop down.
5. Click the Auto Menu Settings button to display the Edit Button Image window.
6. In the Edit Button Image window, configure the Auto Menu settings. A preview will be displayed in the Image Preview section.
   • Select an image from the Background Image drop down or select the Match Auto Menu option to use the settings configured in Terminal Screens Maintenance.
   • Select a Text option from the drop down. Select the Use Custom Text option to enter custom text in the field below or select the Match Auto Menu option to use the settings configured in Terminal Screens Maintenance.
     • Note: To display an item override button image only (without text) on the Front End, users will need to configure the Background Image in Item Maintenance, select Use Custom Text from the Text drop down, and leave the Custom Text field blank.
   • Select an Availability option from the drop down. Choose from Always, Never, or Specific Dates. If the Specific Dates option is selected, choose a Start Date and an End Date from the drop downs.
7. After configuring the Auto Menu settings, click the OK button.
8. In the Item Maintenance window, click File > Save.
