The Caller ID Interface displays a customer's information from the customer database when a call is received at the store. If a caller is not in the customer database, only the phone number is displayed. Users can add the customer to the database by clicking the Caller ID Line button on the Front End. In order to view incoming calls, the Caller ID Interface must be running in the system tray. The Rochelle Multi-Line Adapter Caller ID unit (serial) can be purchased from the Dealer Portal.
The Caller ID unit must be installed prior to completing this step of the setup process.
