Editing Back Office Favorites

The steps below will guide you through editing your Favorites pages and groups.

ClosedHow to Change the Display Order of Favorites

The order a Page, Group, or Group Item is displayed in can be changed by selecting its name in the list box and clicking the appropriate up or down arrow.

ClosedHow to Edit a Page
  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Favorites icon.
  3. Click the Edit Favorites button at the top right of the window.
  4. The Configure Favorites window opens.
  5. Select the Page you wish to edit in the Pages and Group list box. (Pages are denoted by a page icon next to their name.)
  6. Click the Edit button. The Edit Page window appears.
  7. (Optional) Make any desired changes to the Page Name.
  8. (Optional) Select the check box next to a user's name to grant them access to the page or uncheck the check box to remove a user's access. To grant or remove all users' access at once click the Toggle Selected button.
  9. Click Save to save your changes or Cancel to discard the changes.
  10. Click Close to close the Configure Favorites window.
ClosedHow to Edit a Group's Name
  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Favorites icon at the top of the dashboard.
  3. Click the Edit Favorites button at the top right of the window.
  4. The Configure Favorites window opens.
  5. Select the Group you wish to edit in the Pages and Group list box. (Groups are denoted by a yellow folder icon next to their name.)
  6. Click the Editbutton. The Edit Group window appears.
  7. Make any desired changes to the Group Name.
  8. (Optional) Select the check box next to a user's name to grant them access to the page or uncheck the check box to remove a user's access. To grant or remove all users' access at once click the Toggle Selected button.
  9. Click Save to save your changes or Cancel to discard the changes.
  10. Click Close to close the Configure Favorites window.
ClosedHow to Edit the Contents of a Group
  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Favorites icon.
  3. Click the Edit Favorites button at the top right of the window.
  4. The Configure Favorites window opens.
  5. Select the Group you wish to edit in the Pages and Group list box. (Groups are denoted by a yellow folder icon next to their name.)
  6. In the Selected Group Items list box, select the name of the group item you wish to edit and click Editbutton. The Edit Selected Favorite window opens.
  7. Make any desired changes.
    • Favorite Page sets which page the group item appears under.
    • Favorite Page Group sets which group the group item is assigned to.
    • Name Favorite As replaces the group item's default name with any text entered.
    • Favorite Info/Description sets a tooltip which is displayed when a user holds their mouse over the link.
  8. Click Save Favorite to keep the changes or Cancel Edit to discard the changes.
  9. Click Close to close the Configure Favorites window.
ClosedHow to Delete Favorites
  1. Open the Back Office.
  2. Click the Favorites icon.
  3. Click the Edit Favorites button at the top right of the window.
  4. The Configure Favorites window opens.
    • To delete a Page (This will also delete any groups assigned to it.) select the page in the Pages and Group list box and click the Delete icon under the Pages & Groups list box.
    • To delete a Group select the group in the Pages and Group list box and click the Delete icon under the Pages & Groups list box.
    • To delete a Group Item select the group the item belongs to in thePages and Group list box then select the group item's name under Selected Group Items and click the Delete icon under the Selected Group Items list box.
  5. Click Close to close the Configure Favorites window.
