Manually Settling A Check With TabbedOut

The TabbedOut Link function allows an employee to link (assign) the TabbedOut code given by a patron to their tab so the patron can close out their tab when ready. FPOS also has the ability to use the credit card that is stored in TabbedOut to settle the check, similar to a pre-auth. This prevents the patron from walking out on their tab. In the event that a patron walks out without settling their tab, you can manually settle the check following the steps below.

  1. From the Front End, select the check that needs to be settled.
  2. Select the Settle Check button.
  3. A prompt comes up asking if you would like to charge the entire amount for the check # to the card.
  4. Select Yes to use the card.
